Based on the procedure, after submitting the application to the platform, the banks will submit the settlement proposal within a month. The borrower will then have one month to decide whether he or she wishes to be subject to the regulation based on the banks’ proposal and then sign the relevant contract and the subsidy process begins.
In the event that it deems it not advantageous, the banks’ proposal may go to court. If it is not eligible, the borrower is required to submit an application to the court within 15 working days to settle his loan. The borrower who is considered eligible will be able to receive the public subsidy which ranges from 20-50% of the installment, over a period of 25 years. The fair value of the house should not exceed 250,000 euros and the annual income 36,000 euros.
